: Calwell High School is located in beautiful Tuggeranong with a population of approximately 400 students. Staff are part of a team dedicated to student centred improvement and innovation, supporting individual student learning and pathways.Calwell High is well resourced with a tight knit staff and community, committed to supporting our students and each other. We are seeking a teacher librarian that will continue to build our library as a vibrant and welcoming space for learning. The teacher librarian will be a central part of our learning teams, collaborating with the leadership team, classroom teachers, support staff, students and the community. We are looking for a passionate educator to join our innovative team to build the 21st Century skills of our learners and their growth as active consumers of information. This role includes literacy development aligned with our Multi-Tiered Systems of Support.
Eligibility/Other Requirements:
Teacher Librarian qualifications, or currently enrolled in Teacher Librarian postgraduate studies including: Graduate Diploma of Education (Teacher Librarianship) Master of Applied Science (Teacher Librarianship) Master of Education (Teacher Librarianship) Master of Information Services (Teacher Librarian)Notes: This is a temporary position available for up to 12 months with the possibility of permanency.
