This crucial role plays a pivotal part in ensuring the continued NDT services to our valued client sites across the Bowen Basin. Join our close-knit team in Paget, managing daily customer schedules in the Mackay Industrial precinct and Bowen Basin mine sites. Occasional site travel is required, with a vehicle provided.

Primary Duties: 

  • Develop inspection work scopes, incorporating any necessary Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), and conduct a thorough review of equipment history. 
  • Perform inspections on pressure equipment, which includes boilers, vessels, piping, storage tanks, and related machinery, ensuring adherence to the relevant code and client requirements. 
  • Utilise diverse testing methods (ultrasonic, magnetic particle, liquid penetrant testing, and visual inspection) to identify defects, irregularities, and vulnerabilities in materials and components without causing damage, ensuring thorough quality assessment. 
  • Ensure that products and systems meet the highest safety and quality standards through precise testing and inspection processes. 
  • Prepare comprehensive, client reports for inspections conducted on the equipment, ensuring alignment with the applicable code and regulations.
