The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Billing Officer. This full-time position, with flexible hybrid working options, is based in either Melbourne or Sydney. As a Billing Officer, your primary focus will be on E-billing and traditional billing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance. A key component of this role involves providing national support through our helpdesk, addressing inquiries with efficiency and precision. Day-to-day you will be responsible for:

Providing E billing assistance nationally and maintenance of the internal / external E-billing databases. Responding to billing queries, including calls received on the National Billing Help Desk. Processing bill cancellation, special rates and GST change requests. Processing client rate requests received from the Pricing/BD teams. Assisting with end of month Pro bono/Concessional billing. Processing audit comfort requests. Responding to ad hoc reporting requests. Providing one on one training to new secretaries. Providing back up support within the Business Finance Billing Team nationally.

To be successful in this position you will have:

Knowledge of E-Billing procedures (highly regarded) Billing experience (highly regarded) Good organisational skills, with a thorough and methodical approach to tasks. Knowledge of Aderant software (highly regarded). Intermediate Excel skills.
