The Opportunity

Are you an experienced Mechanic Operator or have a passion for mechanics and want to gain experience within renewable energy and landfill gas, come join our supportive and friendly teams based in Tarago, NSW 2580.


As a Mechanic Operator you will be responsible for operating, maintaining and servicing gas engines, plants and equipment at the Woodlawn site.

What you'll be responsible for

To service maintain and repair engines and equipment within the powerstation  Complete scheduled daily work tasks as directed by the Maintenance Plan, with guidance from Supervisor/Leading Hand in an efficient and timely manner Complete work orders, monitor stocks and part requisitions daily Record, monitor power station operation while conducting preventative or breakdown maintenance

What you'll need to be successful

Australian recognised Automotives / Diesel / Heavy Vehicle Mechanic's trade certificate. Proven mechanical knowledge and is willing to continuously improve mechanical skills in an operating power station/ experience within the automotive repair industry. Open to recent graduates, Diesel Fitters or Light Vehicle Mechanics looking to upskill in gas engine power station and or gain experience within the waste industry.

Willingness to undergo a National Police Clearance and medical check relevant to the role.
