Job Title: Sheet Metal Worker (Trade Qualified or Experienced)
Location: Chermise, Brisbane QLD
Are you skilled in sheet metal work or looking to develop your career? Join a leading manufacturer supplying metal and plastic products to the irrigation, mining, and civil sectors across Australia
Work Hours:
Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Early finish on Fridays: 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Hourly Pay:
$35+ph(Based on experience) + Overtime
Key Responsibilities:
Set up, program, and operate various sheet metal profile cutters (e.g., laser, folding, rolling, and cutting).
Ensure correct material selection, loading, and processing based on work orders.
Perform inspections and quality checks to meet industry standards.
Minimize waste and manage scrap material according to company procedures.
Assist in the development and review of standard operating procedures.
Maintain clean and safe workspaces, complying with safety standards.
What We’re Looking For:
Trade-qualified in sheet metal work or substantial experience in steel folding, rolling, laser, and profile cutting.
Alternatively, experience as a trade assistant (T/A) with a desire to develop skills in sheet metal work.
Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
Forklift and overhead gantry crane licenses are beneficial but not essential (training can be provided).
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
