About the Opportunity:
This role is an excellent opportunity for a PET-CT Technologist to join a reputable organisation and significantly expand their skillset. We’re looking for someone motivated and ambitious to join our Southport clinic on a full-time basis.
Our high performing PET-CT Team is growing due to continued demand for PET/CT services in the region. Work with a Siemens Biograph MCT in a modern facility, that offers a dynamic environment with plenty of opportunity for accelerated growth as a technologist.
Key Responsibilities:
- First and foremost, provide compassionate and quality patient care, taking responsibility for patient welfare and confidentiality.
- Perform a range of Nuclear Medicine procedures, to produce images of the highest diagnostic quality possible.
- Interpret requests and perform appropriate procedures in accordance with relevant legislation and department policies.
- Commit to continuous improvement by maintaining current knowledge and upskilling in new techniques/advances.
About You:
Alongside your passion for patient-centred care and Nuclear Medicine Technologist qualifications, you will also have:
- Effective communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work autonomously and excellent time management skills.
- High attention to detail.
- A Radiation Use Licence for your state or territory (or the ability to attain one).
- AHPRA registration as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
- Full working rights in Australia.
