Active Tree Services are looking to grow our team in Adelaide, South Australia with a Heavy-Combination Truck Driver to service our business nationally.

What is the role?

Due to a recent expansion and continued growth Active Tree Services is looking to engage a high-quality Permanent Driver based out of Adelaide, SA. This role may see you travelling interstate but predominantly around South Australia and may also include site pick-ups & deliveries of multiple various plant types. With some of our freight profile you will need to be experienced using various restraint methods particularly with dogs & chains. You will be driving a brand new, modern Prime Mover with a variety of trailer combinations and will have the luxury of cabin air-conditioning. You will rotate throughout the day between duties such as:

Maintenance checks and completion of logbook Safe and efficient operations of Prime Mover in accordance to road and weather conditions Loading and unloading various plant machinery Implant various safe restraint methods Log, track and record hours and freight delivery details

The preferred candidate will be able to demonstrate a minimum of two years Multi Combination driving experience and must hold a current Heavy-Combination (HC) Driver License, as well as have the flexibility to travel interstate and live away from home.

Do you have?

HC Truck Licence (Essential) * Minimum of 2 years’ experience First Aid Certificate + CPR Knowledge of fatigue legislation and safety regulations Ability to engage in proactive communication with potential clients and customers

White card Various plant training VOC or licences/tickets Experience processing client and customer invoices
