About the role

We are seeking a Test Engineer with minimum NV1 security clearance to be responsible for designing and executing test cases and scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our client's software solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, design test plans, and perform manual and automated testing. Success in this role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality software products.

This role is based on-site in Adelaide and can be taken as a Contract or Permanent opportunity.

About you

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Design test cases and scripts under own direction, mapping back to predetermined criteria, recording, and reporting test outcomes. Participate in requirement, design, and specification reviews to identify test conditions and develop test plans. Apply agreed standards to specify and perform manual and automated testing. Automate testing tasks and build test coverage through existing or new infrastructure. Analyze and report on test activities, results, issues, and risks to stakeholders. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.

Requirements:

Minimum NV1 clearance, ideally NV2 or PV A background in Defence or Federal Government is highly desirable Proficiency in designing and executing test cases and scripts. Experience in manual and automated testing techniques. Knowledge of testing methodologies and best practices. Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality software products. Effective communication and collaboration skills.
