Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Restaurant Manager to lead our dynamic team. As the face of Kokoroya, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth daily operations, maintaining high service standards, and creating a welcoming environment for both staff and guests. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves hospitality and wants to work in a family-friendly setting with room for growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures

• Lead, train, and motivate the front-of-house and kitchen teams

• Ensure excellent customer service and resolve any guest concerns promptly

• Manage staff scheduling, inventory control, and supplier relationships

• Implement and maintain health and safety standards in line with regulations

• Assist with marketing and promotional initiatives to increase customer engagement

• Monitor financial performance and work with ownership to achieve business goals

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, family-oriented environment

• Passion for Japanese cuisine and hospitality

• Knowledge of inventory management, staff scheduling, and basic financials

• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
