About the opportunity  

Starting out as a Survey Technician or Assistant, you’ll be joining a large network of survey professionals who work across our business both geographically and within a diverse project portfolio. You’ll gain hands on experience while being supported and mentored by industry leading professionals in an organisation that puts the development of its people at the forefront. We will provide full on the job training as well as support through tertiary studies to see you become a qualified Survey Technician or Land Surveyor.

Supporting the party leader on-site, this role is your foot in the door for a long and fulfilling career in the field of surveying. Initially, the role will see you:

  • Operating and setting up surveying equipment
  • Carrying out routine maintenance and adjustments
  • Supporting project surveyors with setouts and subdivision surveying
  • Assisting with small and large scale feature surveys
  • Coordinating survey control networks
  • Gaining an introduction and hands-on experience with laser scanning and UAV/drone technology
