Title: NDIS Support Worker

As an NDIS Support Worker, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, person-centered care to our clients, empowering them to live fulfilling and independent lives. Your role will involve providing practical assistance with daily activities, fostering social connections, and promoting emotional well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

- Build meaningful relationships with clients based on trust, respect, and empathy.

- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including grooming, hygiene, and medication management, while promoting their independence and dignity.

- Support clients in participating in recreational and community activities, helping them develop social skills and connections.

- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families to create individualized support plans tailored to each client's needs and goals.

- Provide emotional support and encouragement, actively listening to clients' concerns and empowering them to express their preferences and choices.

- Maintain accurate records and documentation of client interactions, progress, and any incidents in compliance with organizational policies and NDIS regulations.

- Continuously engage in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in disability support and best practices.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Compassionate and dedicated to providing person-centered care and support.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, families, and team members.

- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in a similar support role is desirable but not essential.

- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and work effectively in a dynamic environment.

- Understanding of the NDIS framework and commitment to upholding its principles of choice, control, and inclusion.

- Certificate III or IV in Disability Support or a related field is advantageous.
