The Opportunity:
Brightwater has an exciting opportunity available at our flagship site in Inglewood; we're seeking an experienced Nurse with excellent leadership capabilities, to take on a Clinical Nurse Manager role.
As a well-established and diverse organisation, we are able to offer opportunities for the right clinical professionals to lead a clinical team within residential aged care. You will be supported to progress in your CNM role, and to develop your skills in aged care nursing and in clinical leadership.
As a Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) you will work in partnership with the site Service Manager to ensure high standards of clinical care to our clients, consistent with the Aged Care Quality Standards and Brightwater’s Clinical Governance Framework.
CNMs provide clinical leadership and support to a team of health professionals, promoting holistic care to clients in a way that reflects Brightwater’s Mission and Values.
Our Inglewood site is a 128-bed facility located in the heart of Perth’s inner suburbs. This new, state-of-the art facility provides high quality care for people with a range of diverse needs.
About you:
We are seeking a passionate candidate who can bring their skills and experience to our newest facility. Our CNM positions are offered to clinical nurses, or equivalent, with a minimum of three years’ experience, on a permanent full-time basis.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Three years minimum experience as a Clinical Nurse or equivalent and currently registered with the Australia Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)Excellent clinical knowledge, critical thinking, and decision-making skillsLeadership capability and initiative, including an interest in leading and supporting others.Motivation and capacity to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary model.Sound understanding of processes needed to respond to clinical and quality audits using the principles of continuous improvement.Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsThe capability to liaise, consult and collaborate with diverse stakeholders to build successful relationships.Knowledge of the aged care sector, standardsExposure to recruitment practices, and an understanding of staff performance management and development processesAvailability to work flexible hours to meet the needs of clients or their families. It is a requirement of this position to participate in an on-call roster.Evidence of up-to-date flu vaccination and full COVID vaccination.A NDIS Worker Screening Check ClearanceA satisfactory National Police Clearance (less than 12 months old)A WA driver’s licenceIf this sounds like the right role for you, Brightwater offers:
