Job Title

Electrical Draftsperson


Purpose of the role


The Electrical Draftsperson will work within the Electrical and Controls Engineering team to develop technical drawings for the design and construction of self-service check-in products and projects. Working closely with Engineers, the candidate will follow product/project life cycle, from defining scope, delivering designs for construction and reviewing as-built drawings. Continuing to learn and extend themselves, helping the team as whole deliver in Amadeus' purpose.


Main Responsibilities


Electrical Drafting
Provide electrical drawings (single line, block, ELV, LV) for products and projects to deliver to vendors and site.
Work within applicable standards for products and projects.
Working with Engineering, Vendors and Site for feedback review.
Co-ordination with Vendor Management
Issuance of schematics and BOMs for deliverables.
Collaboration of supply chain process.


Process Improvement and Administration
Engage with stakeholders to review and improve processes across products and projects


Estimation
Effort estimation for design changes to products and project specific requirement

Experience Required


• Any tertiary education in drafting / engineering or related field
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in relevant industry
• Australian standards for electrical and machine safety (or equivalent) for IT equipment and Baggage Handling Systems
