We are looking for an experienced, motivated, and enthusiasticWorkshop Controller, to work in our busydealership in Southport.
As a Workshop Controller, you will be someonewho enjoys a challenge, working in a team environment carrying outpractical and hands on activities.
The role entails:
Manage daily tasks, productivity and efficiency for a team oftechniciansPrioritise Repair Orders in the workshop to ensure on timecompletionAssist with Technical problem solvingSuggest additional work that is needed to the Service AdviserTeam so the customer can be notifiedMake certain that work repair orders are completed correctlyfor warranty procedures and ask for clarification if there arequestionsMaintain OEM workshop tools and equipment; follow safetypractices; notify management if tools need replacement or new toolsrequiredMaintain adequate personal hand tools to enable all repairs tobe carried out with minimum movement from vehicleMaintain a full driver's licence,Maintain cleanliness of the working area and customertrucksAssist in expediting of parts orders and notify service advisorif delays are expected or if a part needs to be orderedGive special attention to repeat repairs, so the problem iscorrect this time and future comebacks are avoidedCompliance with the procedures and policiesWhat we are looking for:
Relevant vehicle trade qualificationsPrevious workshop controller experience (preferred notessential)A current driver's licenceAir-Conditioning Licence (Preferred not Essential)ASCIS & AUVIS Licence (Preferred not Essential)Ability to follow work, health and safety policies andproceduresDemonstrate care and attention to detailGood communication skills and have a positive can-doattitudeCan work well within large teams and follow processes andinstructionsBenefits:
