We have an exciting opportunity within Global Retail Brands, Australia's premier specialty kitchenware & homewares retailer, boasting a vast network of over 260 stores nationwide. We are actively seeking a dynamic Senior Merchandise Planner entrusted with supporting the development of the merchandise strategy through forecasting, analyzing categories and articles within our kitchenware portfolio. 

About the role: 

Reporting into the Head of Planning, the Merchandise Planners will work closely with our buyers and planning analysts to ensure we have the right stock, in the right place, at the right time 

Key responsibilities of the role will include but not be limited to:

• Provide analytical support for seasonal Strategic reviews 
• Develop Department Budgets in SSP (Strategic Sales Plan)
• Determine via analytical review recommendations for ranging that supports store grading
• Determine purchase plan within the buying plan (China order file) to support the SSP
• Management of In-season Trade (Sales & GP)
• Maximisation of Gross Profit through Project Management & Continuous Improvement

About you: 

• Sound Understanding of retail industry
• Expert computer skills – Excel
• Working knowledge of merchandise systems, preferably Pronto
• Superior Numeracy, statistical and probability knowledge
• Planning and Demand forecasting experience
