All Registered Psychiatric Nurse Grade-2 staff are advised of the opportunity to progress to the level of Psychiatric Clinical Nurse Specialist (PCNS)

This classification has been designed to recognise the development of advanced clinical knowledge and clinical practice at a higher level than normally expected at the Grade-2 level.

Potential applicants must read the information sheet and application pack (refer to the attachments) as well as discuss the position with their Unit Manager before submitting an application.

The application form which is contained within the application pack must be completed and submitted as an attachment.

The Clinical Nurse Educator will convene a panel to consider applications.

The opportunity to apply for this advanced position is open ended.
