More about what you’ll do

Reporting to the National Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of both indoor and outdoor spaces within our properties. Your primary objective will be to ensure that the site and its grounds are aesthetically pleasing, safe, and well-maintained for our staff and visitors at all times.

Key Responsibilities of this role include:

Landscape Maintenance including mowing lawns, trimming edges, pruning shrubs, clearing gutters, and weeding Irrigation Systems: watering of plants, lawns, and gardens, Repairs and Maintenance: Perform general repairs and maintenance as requested Pest and Weed Control Equipment Maintenance Waste Management: Collect and dispose of green waste, litter, and other debris Seasonal Tasks: Assist with seasonal tasks such as planting, mulching and leaf removal Communicate with the National Facilities Manager to address all maintenance issues, report any hazards or concerns, and ensure timely completion of tasks.

More about you

As the successful candidate you will display the following attributes:

Previous experience in grounds keeping or landscaping roles preferred. Knowledge of horticultural practices, including plant identification, soil maintenance, and pest management. Ability to operate grounds keeping equipment safely and effectively. Previous experience in general repairs and maintenance within the facilities management space. Strong physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintenance tasks. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. High school diploma or equivalent. Certification in landscaping or grounds keeping preferred but not required. Certification in carpentry preferred but not required
