Clinic Director

The Clinic Director will provide clinical leadership, operational direction, and day-to-day management of the clinic. This opportunity will see you responsible for working collaboratively to achieve organisational objectives; providing an excellent structure of team cohesiveness; developing and coaching high-performing teams to deliver an outstanding experience for our patients.

Location

The role will be based at Woolcock’s current site in Glebe until late February 2024 after which there will be a relocation to our new office premises at 2 Innovation Road, Macquarie Park (within Macquarie University precinct).

About you

  • Lead change and improvement, while recognising patient care as the central focus
  • Implement appropriate workforce strategies to deliver a great experience for our patients
  • Lead the development, implementation and review of clinical policies, procedures, and processes 
  • Lead and manage people through organisational change while fostering a spirit of teamwork and unity across the clinic 
  • Be committed to developing people and building teams to achieve high performance and optimise patient-centred care.

What you bring

  • Five or more years' experience in a healthcare environment at a management level
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field. A Business degree is an advantage
  • Demonstrated success in managing a medical practice or a hospital department/section
  • Demonstrated ability to manage conflict, solve problems and negotiate positive outcomes
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Outstanding interpersonal relationship building and employee coaching and development skills 
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail 
  • Working knowledge of a clinical management software package
  • Working knowledge of Work Health & Safety legislation.
