Our Opportunity

Star Group is offering an amazing opportunity for a Construction Electrician specialising in data communications to join our Newcastle Team, who takes ownership of what they do and is committed to the outcomes of our clients and the business. The Construction Electrician will be responsible for:

  • Installation of data cabling & structured cabling infrastructure
  • Conduct installations for electrical and data communications in a quality manner.
  • Conduct fault finding of electrical and data communications when required.
  • Conduct scheduled as well as reactive maintenance and repairs.
  • Liaise directly with clients and explain what activities have occurred.
  • Complete tasks and paperwork in a timely manner
  • Adhere to safety standards and procedures at all times.

About You

  • Valid Electrical Licence and trade qualifications (Essential)
  • Strong problem-solving skills concerning technical fault-finding.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service skills with an ability to build relationships.
  • Experience working in a commercial environment and complying with safety standards.
  • Able to work in a team environment and support and assist team members when required.
  • Ability to deliver under tight deadlines and achieve high levels of quality with attention to detail.
  • Valid Driver's Licence to attend sites.
