What does the job look like?

Linfox’s Intermodal business unit are currently seeking an MC driver with B-double experience to join the team located in Laverton North VIC. As a part of this role, you will be required to operate our automatic Volvo fleet pulling taught liner and refrigerated trailers while safely delivering a variety of general freight products to our retail customers locally within Melbourne. We currently have a permanent full-time opportunity available working Monday to Friday starting from 8:00am and finishing from 4:00pm. Key areas:

  • Participating and committing to Safety Standards and COR requirements at all times.
  • Ensuring that Vision Zero is a daily focus.
  • Complying with the Linfox coupling & uncoupling procedures.
  • Providing excellent customer service and representing Linfox in a professional manner.
  • Good knowledge of Chain of Responsibility and road transport legislation.
  • Ensuring that all tasks are completed within contractual time frames.
