Complementing our already diverse range of products, we will be manufacturing new timber products including cross laminated & glue laminated timber (NeXTimber) and wood-plastic composite decking & screening, expanding our business into new markets in 2023. These products will take Timberlink from being primarily a structural timber manufacturer to a structural engineered timber products and solutions business.

About the role:

Due to continued growth and volume our Tasmanian mill, situated in Bell Bay, (about half an hour from Launceston) has a number of full-time production positions. We provide full on the job training, working four days a week with the opportunity to work an extra day, if available, at overtime rates (based on a 38 hour working week).

These roles are on rotating day and afternoon shifts working Monday afternoon to Friday morning (4.15pm-2.15am) when on afternoon shift and (5.30am – 3.30pm) when on day shift with a rotating day off each week.

What we require you to have:

  • Able to show initiative and eye for detail
  • Forklift licence preferable but not essential (opportunity to obtain)
  • Own car and licence
  • Capable of physical and manual labour as well as machine operating tasks
  • Ability to complete a full medical (including D&A screening)
