Job Description

We are currently seeking a part-time Maintenace Handyperson to join the team at Oaks The Entrance Waterfront Suites. You will be responsible for maintaining the presentation of guest rooms and public areas and carrying out repairs within the property.

About the role:

  • Undertake general repairs and maintenance as required;
  • Provide induction and supervision of external contractors;
  • Implement the preventative maintenance program for each property; and
  • Maintain daily work records and service schedules

Hours you may be required are Sunday to Monday, 6am- 10pm

Contracted hours: 16 per week. May lead to opportunities to work more hours. 

Qualifications

Successful applicants will have:

  • Previous hands-on building maintenance experience;
  • Previous gardening experience 
  • A passion for delivering exceptional service;
  • Strong time management skills;
  • An excellent work-ethic and proven ability to work unsupervised;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication
  • Experience in Pool Maintenance is highly regarded
