Company Overview:
Emanate Technology is collaborating with a key mid-sized government department in search of a Full Stack .NET Developer. This role is pivotal within multiple high-profile software development projects, with a key focus on upgrading legacy systems.
 
Position Summary:
We are seeking a Full Stack .NET Developer to participate in implementing leading-edge technology. The successful candidate will be responsible for building, developing, and maintaining code in a large enterprise system on Azure Cloud. This program of work emphasises experience in legacy system upgrades and system migration.
 
Key Requirements:

  • Participate in requirements analysis.
  • Collaborate with solution teams and architects to produce software design and architecture.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code following departmental standards and practices.
  • Work collaboratively within a cross-functional team.
  • Unit test and deploy applications and systems.
  • Improve and maintain existing software.
  • Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Baseline Clearance or Australian Citizens with ability to obtain Baseline.

Essential experience:

  • Demonstrated industry-based knowledge and experience in delivering complex large-scale applications and web services using Microsoft technology stacks including:
  • .NET Core / .NET 5,6
  • Experience with Visual Studio 2019 / 2022, Visual Studio Code
  • Experience with Azure DevOps
  • Microsoft Web API / REST Architecture
  • Modern software development utilising Microsoft Azure SaaS and PaaS Services (App Service, Function App, APIM, Service Bus, Azure SQL, Azure AD B2C)
  • CI/CD Pipelines
  • SQL Server 2014 and later.
  • Demonstrated application development experience working on either high-volume transactional systems and/or complex integrated systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively use communication and negotiation skills to manage relationships in a challenging IT environment.
  • Prior project delivery experience or working knowledge of modern software development utilising Microsoft Azure PaaS and SaaS Services.
  • Experience working in an Agile software development environment and experience using Agile development toolsets.

 
Highly desirable experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in project delivery or a strong working knowledge of modern software development utilizing Microsoft Azure PaaS and SaaS services.
  • Proven expertise in data transformation and cleansing.
  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code, particularly using technologies such as Terraform.
