Expressions of interest are sought from enthusiastic, highly motivated Registered Nurses who have a passion for staff education and would like to join our Plastics / Gynaecology / General Surgical department. This role will assist the Clinical manager in directing a team of Nurses, educating staff and in fostering close working relationships with all visiting consultants and other members of the healthcare team.

Flinders Private Hospital is a private not-for-profit 152 bed hospital which offers a range of specialties including cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, ENT surgery, general medicine, general surgery, gynaecology, neurosurgery, orthopaedics, plastic & reconstructive surgery, oncology and urology. Flinders Private Hospital has 9 operating theatres, a procedure room, 3 angiography labs, an Infusion Suite, a 24/7 Cardiac Emergency Service and a 10 bed level 3 critical care unit.

South Australian DHS Working with Children Clearance Current AHPRA Registration Ability to lead by example, demonstrating the professionalism and culture of Flinders Private Hospital Committed to continuous quality improvement Committed to provision of quality Nursing care, Education and customer service Significant experience in Plastics / Gynaecology / General Surgical  Ability to create an environment that supports staff development by implementation of staff education programs Proven communication and interpersonal skills Ability to facilitate and enhance teamwork Leadership and potential management skills  Demonstrated understanding of National Safety and Quality Service Standards, ACHA policies and procedures Proven ability to effectively manage under pressure with competing demands  Ability to work flexible hours
