The Opportunity

Our client Reiter Precision Tooling specialises in producing high quality plastic injection moulds, blow moulds and die casting dies, as well as silicon moulds. They have over 44 years in the industry and run a well-equipped workshop, with state of the art equipment.

Reiter Precision Tooling is currently looking for an enthusiastic Toolmaker Apprentice who would like to start a career in the injection moulding industry.

Job Details

You will be involved in the manufacturing of mould parts including assembling and disassembling, learning the workings of the mould, and learning to read and interpret drawings, schematics and CAD drawings and models.

Working alongside experienced tradespeople you will learn to build and assemble injection mould inserts and dies, troubleshoot moulding machinery issues as they arise, and work with the various machinery on site including lathes, mills, grinders, and drills.

Undertaking this four-year apprenticeship will give you the opportunity to become a qualified Toolmaker and you will complete your MEM31519 Certificate III in Engineering – Toolmaking Trade.

This apprenticeship is based in Wetherill Park in Greater Western Sydney.
