Finance Analyst

On a permanent, full-time basis this crucial role will see you provide commercial and analytical support, to help drive decisions and business performance.

Reporting the to the GM- Finance and, working in a close-knit team of professionals, this role will include, but not be limited to:

• Assisting in the preparation of detailed forecasts to underpin the strategic plan, annual budget and rolling forecasts.
• Partnering with the financial accounting team on cash flow forecasting.
• Providing value add analysis and support in addressing profitability opportunities and challenges.
• Supporting the broader Finance Team to produce high quality, accurate and timely financial reports, and executive presentations.
• Standard daily, weekly, and monthly reporting across financial and non-financial metrics, as well as ad hoc financial analysis.
• Monitor KPIs and actively drive target alignment and achievement.
• Drive continuous improvement in the efficiency and effectiveness of processes and reporting.

Does this sound like you?

• An appropriate tertiary qualification (finance, commerce, engineering) and post-graduate qualification or working towards (CA, CPA, CFA).
• Experience in financial reporting processes in a commercial organization, including managing key internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to partner across the business at all levels.
• Ability to work independently and to tight deadlines, with a strong sense of ownership.
• Understanding of control environments and policy adherence requirements.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
