About the Role
As a key member of the Construction team, you will deliver capital infrastructure projects that enhance safety and compliance while protecting environmental and cultural values. Your efforts will improve the visitor experience and contribute to the sustainability of Phillip Island Nature Parks.
Key responsibilities include:
- Perform carpentry, building construction, and maintenance work.
- Assist in delivering construction projects within budget and timelines.
- Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate contractors and manage OHS issues for effective project delivery.
- Maintain tools and vehicles, and complete documentation accurately and on time.

- Scale 4 hourly rate - $29.84 (at commencement), $31.14 (after 3 months)

Key Selection Criteria
- Certificate III in Carpentry
- Experience in construction projects and building maintenance
- Demonstrated experience in managing contractors and subcontractors
- Meticulous attention to detail, quality and accuracy in completing construction projects
- Understanding of OHS legislation and practices including safe manual handling procedures
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Basic computer skills

- Working with Children Check
- Drivers’ Licence
- First Aid Level II and CPR
