About the Role 
The Sunnyfield Café at Allambie Heights is a vibrantand inclusive space that provides an opportunity for people with disability tobuild their skills and capacity to make a difference. Our café providesemployment opportunities for people with disability to deliver exceptionalfood, coffee and catering services from our café operations. As the CaféSupervisor, you will play an essential role in the day to day operations of thecafé, supporting and empowering people and looking for innovative ways toexpand on our services. 

Key focus includes: 

Ensuring the café operates to required compliance standards in line with WHS, Safe Food Practices and NDIS policies and procedure Daily food preparation, coffee making, assistance with menu development and promotion of the café Actively train, develop and upskill supported employees within the café environment Stock management, record keeping and reporting Ensure processes are in place to maintain cleanliness and presentation of the kitchen and dining areas

AboutYou 
We are seeking apassionate, experienced and energetic Cafe Supervisor to manage Sunnyfield’svibrant and inclusive onsite café in Allambie Heights. In this role, you willcreate a welcoming and enjoyable experience for our staff and clients whilsteffectively managing and monitoring the operations of the cafe. You will alsobe responsible for the training of supported clients within the caféenvironment to teach them new skills. This is a unique role, an opportunity tomake a positive impact on the lives of people with disabilities by providingthem with meaningful employment opportunities. You will demonstrate: 

A passion for and previous experience in managing and operating a café Ability to support people with an intellectual and/or physical disability in a working environment Excellent customer service, time management and organisational skills Experience in food preparation and barista skills Strong knowledge of food handling and hygiene principles
