Your Role:
As an Inventory Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting various functions across the organisation, including Finance, Product Supply Group, and Marketing. This role focuses on inventory and warehouse reporting, product costings, systems maintenance, cost savings, budgeting, forecasting, and supporting process improvements. You'll collaborate with stakeholders to drive meaningful commercial outcomes and contribute to the overall success of the business.
Responsibilities:
- Inventory Data Management:
- Maintain data integrity within NetSuite ERP and other systems.
- Set up and manage inventory codes, Bill of Materials, and inventory master data.
- Analyse inventory valuation, investigate errors, and ensure accuracy.
- Perform monthly inventory reconciliation and variance analysis.
- Reporting and Reconciliation:
- Prepare and analyse month-end reconciliations and journals (e.g., manufacturing overheads, FX, PPV variances).
- Partner with the Warehouse Manager for audit and reporting requirements.
- Prepare adjustments in NetSuite and explain variances impacting the P&L.
- Cost Analysis and Business Partnering:
- Collaborate with Global Strategic Sourcing, Sales, and Marketing teams on product costings and cost savings opportunities.
- Load and validate actuals, forecasts, and budget data across systems.
- Planning and Forecasting:
- Assist with Quarterly Forecasts, Annual Budget, and Long-Range Plan (LRP) processes.
- Key areas include product costing, manufacturing overheads, and variance analysis.
- Systems and Tools Management:
- Maintain systems such as Power BI, NetSuite, Essbase, and planning tools.
- Support new customer and product hierarchies within these systems.
- Ad-hoc Support:
- Provide assistance with audits, process improvements, and additional tasks as required.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience in management reporting and inventory analysis.
- Proficiency in NetSuite modules, especially inventory and manufacturing.
- Intermediate Power BI skills.
- Advanced Excel and strong analytical capabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively across teams.
- FMCG industry experience and knowledge of Hyperion Essbase are advantageous.
