Support Workers/Care Team required to join our growing care team for our clients all across Melbourne - including Blackburn and surrounding suburbs in Melbourne's Inner East.

Multiple shift types are available and we prefer support workers who can be flexible to provide support in-home & support outings as required by the client.

The upcoming summer holiday period has increased our client demand for support workers services, including social/community access etc.
ATZ Care is a leading private provider which is owner operated and always support & care focused.

Casual roles are now available and we are also happy to partner with independent contract carers who love being self-employed, but also love having regular secure work by partnering with a larger service provider.

RequirementsTo be considered for this role, we require you to hold:
  • Certificate IV in Disability, Community Service, Aged Care (preferred)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (mandatory or willing to complete)
  • National Police Check
  • Working with Children Check
  • First Aid certificate and CPR (preferred)
  • NDIS Workers Orientation module (mandatory or willing to complete)
  • Eligibility to work in Australia
  • Fully COVID Vaccinated (Triple vaccinated) with evidence.
  • Current full driver’s license
Competencies and Experience:
  • Previous experience in a similar role – Minimum of 6 months relevant experience.
  • Previous experience of supporting People with disabilities.
  • Demonstrated proficient written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision, and collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Ability to prioritise effectively and organise your own work /caseload.
  • Demonstrated commitment to professional development, quality improvement and evidence-based practice.
