The Opportunity:

The Field Service Technician will provide mechanical maintenance and repair to Komatsu machinery and equipment whilst ensuring a high level of customer service in line with the Komatsu Customer Support Charter is maintained.

Roster: multiple 7/7 options (Start/Finish from Townsville Branch)

Salary: CIRCA 120k to 165k (including salary, overtime, and allowances) 

Role Located: Field Service and project work in the northern Bowen basin and Townsville Field Service region.

What we are looking for:

  • Trade qualification in Heavy Plant or equivalent (Trade upgrade available to the right applicant)
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral to effectively communicate with customers and personnel at all levels.
  • An excellent understanding and commitment to Safety
  • Ability to analyse technical problems and suggest remedies
  • Ability to read and understand Electrical and Mechanical Drawings
  • Appropriate demeanour to create a positive “team atmosphere”
  • Ability to work safely under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Must have a motor vehicle licence
  • Previous experience with Komatsu equipment highly regarded. 
  • Good work ethic, a can-do attitude and be willing to learn.
