As a leading entertainment venue in SEQ, Greenbank Services Club encompasses a 300 machine gaming floor, Gardens Café, Eats On Anzac restaurant, multiple function rooms & bars and a fully supervised Kids Club Room. Partnered with 5 star customer service, our members and guests will receive a customised experience upon each and every visit.

About the Role …

As a part of the Duty Manager Team, you will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining and developing relationships with members
  • Maximising the patron satisfaction levels by driving service standards
  • Managing a large gaming floor
  • Ensuring compliance with liquor & gaming regulations
  • Mentoring and leading a diverse team
  • Operations of gaming, bingo, food and beverage outlets
  • Managing and leading as required to maintain efficient departments
  • Resolving feedback, queries or complaints
  • Effective Communication within the venue from yourself and the team

Your role will be to enhance customer service, achieve individual and team KPIs, meet financial targets as well as coach and motivate your team. 

The Duty Manager Position is a front of house, hands-on role, you will need to bring proven experience of floor operations including cash handling, staff management, a decisive personality and the ability to communicate with a diverse membership demographic. Also required is an eye for detail and a clear understanding of compliance and necessary legislation is imperative.

In this role, you will also be required to undertake the following duties: 

  • Team coaching, mentoring & upskilling
  • Creation and implementation of daily operational programs
  • Ensuring all outlets and areas are running effectively each day
  • High level of cleanliness in all outlets and equipment
  • Conflict Management Resolution 
  • Resolve customer complaints or concerns
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant legislative guidelines
  • Effective operations of a large gaming floor
  • Provide assistance to all outlets
  • Communicate with a diverse membership base
  • Flexible hours and availability essential

About you …

As someone with previous experience in the hospitality or a customer related industry, you will possess a passion for delivering excellent customer service. You will have a willingness to build long-term relationships with customers and will have impeccable grooming, presentation and communication skills.

As a member of our team, you will have the skillset to work both independently and in a team environment. You will also need to have a flexible approach to shift work, 7 days per week, including public holidays.

To be successful in this role you would need to possess the following:

  • Demonstrated strong leadership skills
  • Knowledge of aspects of compliance with relevant legislation
  • Proven ability to coach employees of all levels and abilities
  • Proven ability to deal with a diverse demographic
  • Ability to improve communications and form strong customer relations
  • Effective time management and organisational skills
  • Immaculate personal presentation and service

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience (minimum 2 years) in a similar role
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate 
  • Responsible Service of Gaming Certificate
  • Valid Reponsible Mangement of Licensed Venue Certificate
  • Valid Approved Manager License
  • Experience in conflict resolution and employee engagement
  • Working rights in Australia
