The Allied Health Assistant role is to provide support to therapists and deliver exceptional patient care under the directions of the treating therapists. John Fawkner Private Hospital are seeking casual Allied Health Assistants to work of a rotational roster, hours range between 0800-1600.

As the Allied Health Assistant your responsibilities will include:

· Support members of the Allied Health team to provide a high standard of clinical care to patients/families

· Work under the direction and supervision of physiotherapists, occupational therapists and speech pathologists to help clients achieve their rehabilitation goals

Selection Criteria:

· Previous experience as an Allied Health Assistant in rehabilitation setting preferable

· Relevant qualifications (e.g.: Cert IV in Allied Health Assistance, First Aid Certificate etc.)

· Excellent written and verbal communication

· Experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team

· Superior time management and organisational skills

· Exceptional customer service skills

· Have adaptable and flexible casual availability
