Job Description


This role is responsible for leading a section of the kitchen team through daily operations, ensuring a high quality preparation and presentation of food is provided to guests dining in Coco’s Kitchen + Bar. These daily operational duties include: 

Preparation and Presentation dishes in line with kitchen recipes and standards Maintenance of a clean and hygienic work environment  Maintenance of strict stock rotation ensuring minimum wastage Ensuring safe food handling practices throughout the kitchen, as required by current food health and hygiene regulations. 

Qualifications


To be successful in this role you are required to have completed a recognized trade qualification, and to have previously worked in a kitchen with the focus on À la carte service. Additionally you will display the following characteristics: 

Willing to work within a large kitchen team, with the flexibility to work on a rotating roster, with shifts at a variety of service times.  Demonstrate an adaptable approach to service to ensure guests have a great dining experience. Strong communication and organisational skills Well versed in all aspects of Food Hygiene, HACCP and OH&S to ensure safe working practices are followed within the kitchen.
