We want our students to become knowledgeable, creative, and morally responsible people who have the confidence and capacity to have a positive impact on the world around them, now and in the future and we want you to play a leading role in realising this goal.
You will be responsible for:
- developing and delivering a forward-thinking vision for the School’s educational programs, ensuring their quality and ongoing relevance.
- drawing on your own expertise and that of others in the School, as well as best practice from around the world, to inform our pedagogy, practices and programs.
- proactively delivering a program of research which evaluates the success of current practices and new initiatives
- defining the digital strategy for the School, ensuring our approach, framework and technical environment meets the needs of teachers and students now and in the future
- playing a leading role in creating a built environment which supports excellence in teaching and learning.
You will be:
- interested in shaping all facets of teaching and learning in a place where excellence is recognised and valued
- an outstanding educator with a history of success in a primary, secondary or tertiary environment
- appreciative and be committed to a holistic approach to education
- a creative individual with demonstrable experience in successfully conceiving new ideas and approaches to learning and learning
- a collaborative leader committed to continually developing the School’s curriculum and the staff who shape and deliver it
VIT Registration, or the ability to gain VIT registration, is essential for this position.
