The role:

As a result of a number of key wins and a number of national mandates we are excited to be able to grow our Project Management teams across Australia. We are actively looking to bring experts with experience high-end project delivery to work alongside some of our most valued clients.

The successful candidate will have a breath of Project Management experience in the real estate industry, highly organised and deadline driven.

This fast-paced Client-Side Project Manager role will allow you to collaborate with other divisions within the business, which give our clients a holistic service.

Opportunities are available in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth as well as Canberra. We are looking for experienced Project Managers across all levels of seniority.

Key tasks:

  • Provide a range of project management services to deliver capex and workspace projects
  • Procurement of project teams, including design consultants, certifiers, and others
  • Cost and budget management
  • Tender management
  • Contract development and management
  • involvement in all aspects of key service lines - project management, contract administration, make goods, budget costings
  • Working closely with key leaders to identify business development opportunities
  • Business pitching and client care

Who are we looking for?

  • Degree level qualifications or equivalent in a property related discipline
  • A member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) or equivalent – desirable not essential 
  • Relevant Project Management experience within the commercial property or construction sector (i.e. Project Coordinators, Project Engineers, Contract Administrators etc.
  • Proven ability to win new business and meet targets
  • Good understanding of relevant building legislation
  • Good understanding of financial reports, budget development and cost control
  • Good understanding of all procurement routes and ability to manage project delivery from inception to completion
  • Detailed understanding of Building contract, both in terms of drafting of them and administration
  • Ability to develop and maintain a network of contacts
  • Good presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Computer literate with key MS software (Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint)
  • Excellent MS Project skills
  • Ability to uncover, understand and interpret client objectives
