About the role
We are looking for a ToolstorePerson to control the safe and efficient receipt, storage, and delivery of goods, equipment and tooling whilst actively promoting safety awareness and safe work practices at Paraburdoo. This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic individual with a background in warehousing or similar, looking for a new challenge.
Working on an 8 days on, 6 off roster and reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the role duties will include:
- Checking goods to ensure that goods and tooling received meet items specified on purchase order.
- Conducting safe and efficient stacking and storage of goods and tooling received.
- Performing clerical duties, including all tasks associated with receipt, dispatch, and delivery of goods
- Using SAP to track and trace parts and all parts movements are recorded and updated
- Working with the maintenance teams across the site
- Consolidate all parts required for weekly maintenance
- Load and unload vehicles as required
- Operating, carrying out routine inspections and maintaining the condition of the fixed plants
- Demonstrating commitment to safety in a team environment
- Demonstrating the ability to carry out basic fault find and diagnosis
- Willing to work in a team environment and contribute to daily targets
- Involved in any manual handling associated with basic maintenance and inspection of the plant
- Working on a field role, monitoring of equipment, cleaning, hosing and identifying continuous improvement opportunities
- Working autonomously to monitor the process in a safe and effective manner
About you

- A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
- Manual C Class Driver’s Licence
- High Risk Forklift Licence – desirable
- SAP Experience – desirable

Where you will be working
Located 80km south of Tom Price, Greater Paraburdoo is an open pit operation producing high grade ore as part of the integrated system of mines operated by Rio Tinto across the Pilbara. It is comprised of three mines: Paraburdoo, Channar and Eastern Range. The picturesque town of Paraburdoo offers residents a range of leisure facilities and local amenities including a jet-serviced airport. Facilities available for families include daycare, a primary school, and a TAFE. The nearest high school is in Tom Price. There are also skate parks, swimming pools, tennis courts, and netball, cricket and football fields. Paraburdoo has its own shopping facilities and medical centres. The operation has a predominantly residential workforce and as such has a strong sense of community where you will be a part of something bigger than just a mining business.
