Permanent full-time position as a Civil Engineer within an established family-owned construction business in the Darwin region. For a Construction Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, or Earthworks Engineer interested in the construction of infrastructure within the territory.

  • Minimum 3 of Civil Engineering & Infrastructure experience
  • Salary depends on experience
  • Based in Darwin

A normal day includes 
8:00am 5:00pm office based role with occasional overtime. And may require some remote travel to their sites around the NT.

  • Maintain proactive communication with project supervision and client representatives
  • Manage subcontractors' scope of work across projects
  • Implement quality control documentation for project compliance 
  • Develop construction programs that reflect project status 
  • Quantify and procure materials throughout the project duration 
  • Generate and submit unforeseen variations to the contract, if needed 
  • Assist project team in resource allocation for site production 
  • Ensure accurate interpretation of project design and specifications 
  • Attend client project meetings as necessary 
  • Provide quantity/volume analysis and support tender submissions

You will need 

  • Hold a recognized degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the civil construction industry.
  • Possess proficiency in managing engineering and quality
  • Related aspects of construction projects of varying sizes and complexities.
  • Demonstrate strong competency in using survey equipment and software, including AutoCAD and various 3D software.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills with a focus on planning, process efficacy, and continuous improvement.
