Administration Assistant

Mount Isa Mines are currently advertising a vacancy that exists within the Processing department for the role of Administration Assistant. This is a permanent position reporting directly to the Manager. In this position you will provide general administrative support to the department.

Duties relating to this role include:

  • Coordinating department travel arrangements
  • Booking and coordination of site visits
  • Ensuring all office inventory levels are maintained
  • Liaising with the administration team across site and ad hoc planned projects
  • On-boarding of new starters in collaboration with HR
  • Contractor administration support on site
  • Coordinate and liaise with contractors and other similar service providers
  • Managing and organising of Calendars
  • Assist and organise functions
  • Credit card reconciliation

The successful applicant will have:

  • Previous experience in administration
  • Manual Australian drivers’ licence
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, and knowledge of SAP/Ellipse and bsafe is desirable
  • Excellent customer service delivery and organisation skills
  • The ability to meet set deadlines and prioritise where required
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail and high problem-solving skills
