About the role:

At Estia Health we have an exciting new career opportunity for a strong Financial Budgeting and Forecasting Manager to join the team. This is a critical role where the incumbent will partner across the organisation in the development and delivery of the short, medium and long term financial forecast and for the company to allow the Executive leadership (and ultimately the Board) to better plan and assess the financial outcomes and strategies to be deployed.

Some of what you’ll be doing:

  • Establish a robust budgeting and forecasting platform with rolling forward forecasts
  • Provide accurate and complete financial forecasting and budgeting information, with continual review and assessment of assumptions, business drivers, and resulting financial data at varying levels
  • Analyse, interpret, report and communicate information to stakeholders, ensuring a strong basis for informed decisions and actions being made
  • Monitor compliance with the financial covenants under the company’s banking facilities and prepare the periodic draft covenant calculations.
  • Monitor near term liquidity requirement including the maturity and debt funding requirements of the company discussing outcomes with the Head of Corporate Finance and the CFO

The background that will make you a success in this role:

  • Ideally, Tertiary qualified (in a related discipline) with CA/CPA with 5+ years’ post qualification experience
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Property Development/Services sectors with a proven track record in planning, forecasting and budgeting for multi-locational groups and a significant CAPEX base
  • Well-developed written communication skills – ability to draft reports and presentations that will be presented to members of the Executive
  • Demonstrated ability to create change and 'cut through' and enable outcomes to be achieved/happen with multiple stakeholders
  • Highly developed capital management, project management planning and analysis skills
  • Broadly proficient with current technology (including Microsoft Office and general computing skills)
  • Strong communications with the ability to engage with operational management at various levels of the business
