TheRole 

Reporting to our Learning Area Leadfor German & French at our Caulfield Campus, this teachingposition will be teaching German to our secondary students. As avalued member of our team, you will be part of making a realdifference by positively impacting our student experience andcontributing to our School community.

This is a part-time with a 0.6 FTEfixed term contract for Term 3 only, based at our Caulfield Campus.The successful applicant will demonstrate a strong passion for theGerman Language and commitment to professional development and willalso be comfortable utilising learning technologies. An ability toteach Individuals & Societies (Humanities) could increase therole to 0.8 FTE. 

KeyDuties

Deliver learning programs that demonstrate a research-based knowledge of how students learn, including integrating formative practice and providing continuous feedback  Prepare instructional activities that facilitate engaging and appropriate learning opportunities for all  Provide a safe and supportive classroom culture  Contribute to our visible wellbeing program to enable students to thrive and belong  Model and live the Caulfield Grammar School values and behaviours

Skills andExperience 

Hold a current VIT Registration  Hold a Teaching Qualification alongside exceptional knowledge in German Experience in Humanities would also be desirable Experience teaching at MYP and VCE levels would be advantageous Demonstrated commitment to professional development Ability to connect positively with students and show genuine care for their learning Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team
