We're seeking a motivated and tech-savvy graduate to join our team as a Level 1 IT Support Technician.

About the Role:

You will play a vital role in ensuring our team can operate smoothly by providing proactive IT support. You will be the first point of contact for IT support, providing exceptional onsite, telephone, and email assistance to our team members in Victoria and Queensland. You'll be solving IT infrastructure issues, ensuring that our employees receive the highest standard of service. Your role will be crucial in maintaining our IT systems and enhancing the overall user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot IT Issues: Provide prompt and effective solutions to a range of IT problems, ensuring minimal disruption to our team's workflow.
  • Problem-Solving: Use your technical skills to identify and resolve hardware and software issues.
  • Configuration and Testing: Configure and test desktops, printers, and other peripherals to ensure they function correctly.
  • Onboarding/Offboarding: Manage the setup of IT systems for new employees and ensure the proper deactivation of accounts for departing staff
  • Maintain IT Equipment: Ensure all desktops, printers, and peripherals are in good working condition, logged and meet company standards
  • Assist to implement new systems, the intranet and information management system..

What We’re Looking For:

  • You have a passion for helping people and can communicate complex technical information in a way that's easy to understand.
  • You have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot a wide range of IT issues.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential to explain technical details to non-technical users.
  • You're flexible, proactive, and can adapt to challenges with enthusiasm. You’re always looking to learn and improve.
  • You can effectively manage your time and prioritize tasks in a busy environment.
  • Experience with Windows Server & Microsoft 365 is highly desirable.
  • A relevant IT qualification will give you an edge and demonstrate your readiness to excel in this role.
