The Opportunity:

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Technician to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in providing high-quality service and maintenance on Komatsu construction equipment, supporting our valued customers and ensuring peak equipment performance in the Gladstone Region.

Roster: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm (overtime available)

Rate: $43.92 base rate + Field Service Allowance $91pw + Tool Allowance $20pw + Super + Overtime

Role Located: Gladstone Region

What we are looking for:

  • Trade qualification in a relevant mechanical or electrical field (e.g., Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, Diesel Fitter).
  • Proven experience working on construction equipment, with specific experience on Komatsu machinery preferred.
  • Strong diagnostics, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to customer sites.
