Cavpower is seeking a Supervisor to join its Moomba operation.  You will ensure professional and efficient customer service both in the workshop and the field.  You will be responsible for leading and managing a team of tradespersons, maximising productivity and delivering prompt customer service.

Operating on a 15 days on, 13 days off FIFO roster, Moomba offers a rewarding challenge and an opportunity to gain unique skills and experience.  This position is ideal for those looking to take the next step in their career.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Ensure compliance with all company and customer safety requirements
• Schedule all work and monitor job flow and productivity
• Provide technical assistance
• Complete risk assessments on machines, new tooling and plant
• Conduct machine inspections on completed jobs
• Coordinate parts and service
• Manage Work In Progress (WIP) - opening and closing jobs
• Prepare Job Reports

You will possess strong people and management skills along with sound computer literacy.  Previous experience in a Supervisory position within mining, earthmoving or the heavy trucking industry is advantageous along with formal leadership training.

Relevant trade qualifications with sound mechanical knowledge, preferably with CAT equipment is required.

A current and valid drivers licence is mandatory.
