The Women’s & Children’s Health Network provides state of the art health care for women, babies, children and young people across South Australia.  We are the state’s leading provider of specialist care for children with acute and chronic conditions as well as being SA’s largest maternity and obstetric service.

The Opportunity

Exciting opportunities exist within Food Services to join us as a Kitchen Hand (WHA2) on a casual basis. Staff will be rostered over a seven-day roster working either a morning or afternoon shift on an on call basis.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service.
  • Food and beverage preparation
  • Maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Dishwashing.
  • Delivering food, beverages, and equipment to areas across the hospital.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Experience in a large food service environment or training with a recognised provider
  • Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively as part of an effective team.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with staff and customers at all levels, cultures and backgrounds.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene principles and Work, Health & Safety principles.
