A fantastic opportunity at nbn, Australia’s largest infrastructure project, as the Senior Endpoint Security Engineer, reporting to the Manager DevSecOps Endpoint Security.

A bit about your role

As aSenior Endpoint Security Engineer, you are to manage a backlog of work required to enhance the portfolio’s capability maturity, coverage, and stability. This will be an opportunity for you to own and drive ongoing security projects from a delivery perspective, as well as the ongoing improvement and enhancement.

This role will require you to produce or review Detailed Level Designs (DLD) for new delivery projects, and propose improvements for scaling the existing security platforms, controls, and security rulesets.

You will work with the DSO Manager in assessing platform performance, control design, scalability, efficiencies, capacity, and currency and make necessary improvements. The Security Engineer will manage the identification of technical issues and risks by conducting root cause analysis and remediation.

A bit about you

The successful candidate will have extensive experience using Microsoft Security suite (MS Defender, MIP/AIP, MCAS, MSD AV) and knowledge of the McAfee/Trellix Security suite (ePO, ENS, EDR, MACC, CNAP) would be ideal.

Moreover, experience with HSM, DigiCert and MS PKI, DTEX, Symantec DLP, Rapid7 and Skybox Vulnerability as well as policy management would be valuable.

You bring a can-do attitude with experience working on Detailed Level Designs (DLD), strong problem-solving skills, are collaborative, and comfortable working in an agile environment.
