Everyone Homes focusses purely on delivering Social, Affordable and Accessible Housing for Government and Community Housing Provider customers to address the needs of disadvantaged people across Australia.
Our team works across Victoria, NSW, South Australia and Queensland. Due to projected increase in build volumes, we are seeking a self-motivated and experienced Project Draftsperson based in our Mount Waverley Head Office for our team with builds based throughout all Eastern regions of Australia.
Reporting to the National Drafting Manager, your responsibilities will include: To manage allocated projects from concept to completionTo complete the project brief and update as requiredIn conjunction with the Design Manager, prepare concept plans based on project requirementsManagement and production of feasibility/siting plans, town planning and working drawings in accordance with company guidelines to meet quality and time targetsTo manage external Drafters for projects allocatedAttend workflow meetings to review project progress and identify any issuesTo check the required drawings for accuracy from external DraftersTo ensure all documentation produced is of a high standard and meets relevant codes, building regulations and quality control guidelines; andMaking recommendations for improvement of output & productivity.

The successful candidate will have: Proficient in Revit and AutoCADSuccessful completion of a Diploma of Building Design & Drafting, Diploma of Architectural Drafting or equivalent practical experienceMin. 5 years residential (full-time) drafting experience, including 2 years Medium Density, Dual Occ and Town Planning experienceExperience in the residential volume home building industry would be an advantageHighly organised – ability to multi-task and deal with a variety of activitiesHighly developed interpersonal and communication skillsWorking knowledge of the residential home construction processesWorking knowledge of NCC, ResCode and LHA standardsWorking knowledge of how to interpret, utilise and incorporate developer guidelines, local planning requirements & Civil Services drawings; andBasic Microsoft WORD, EXCEL and OUTLOOK computer skills.
