Psychologist to join our team at Ramsay Clinic Cairns in a permanent part-time position.
About the Role
This role will work across the Inpatient and Day Therapy Programs. Therapy aims to provide support, skills and education in the treatment and management of a range of mental health illnesses. This role also involves the planning and facilitation of group services for patients.
Your Skills and Experience
- Facilitating inpatient and day program therapy using Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Mindfulness.
- Accredited undergraduate degree in Psychology, APHRA registered and unrestricted general registration with the Psychology Board of Australia
- Post-graduate qualifications in Clinical Psychology highly regarded
- Art Therapy experience would be a bonus but not essential
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be self-motivated and function autonomously whilst also being able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
Remuneration
On offer is an hourly rate ranging between $39.56 - $66.57 + Superannuation based on qualifications and experience. Exclusive of penalties and allowances.

Requirements
- Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases, which may include Covid-19.
