The Senior Product Manager – Servicing and Payments is responsible for defining the product roadmap for the Qantas and Jetstar Hotels and Holidays Servicing and Payments products in conjunction with the Tribe Leadership team (including Marketing, Commercial, Operations and Engineering).

This role focuses on introducing new payment methods, enhancing the Hotels and Holidays self service booking management portal and uplifting servicing products for our assisted channels.

As the leading product person, you will be responsible for driving growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences. You'll possess in-depth domain knowledge of the business vertical in which the Tribe operates. Your responsibilities will include discovering new propositions to drive growth, leading a team of Senior Business Analysts, managing the product portfolio, serving as the subject matter expert for innovation and product practices, identifying and forming strategic partnerships, and overseeing the ongoing transformation of organisational and people capabilities within your team.

You’ll be directly responsible for the operations of your product squad and responsible for driving end to end outcomes that require support from wider product teams across the Qantas Group (including Qantas Loyalty, Qantas and Jetstar).

This role requires deep subject matter expertise in payments, exceptional stakeholder management skills and an enterprise level thinking to drive mutually beneficial outcomes across the Group. A key to the success of this role is to form strong relationships within and outside the Qantas Group.

You’ll have:

  • 5+ years of senior product leadership experience in a large, complex matrix organisation with at least 3 years as the top-level owner of a distinct product or product line
  • Experience in the delivery of large scale and complex transformation and change programs across multiple business units
  • Experience in driving results in a fast-paced and continually changing environment
  • Experience leading medium to large multi-disciplinary teams, building a team oriented, collaborative, agile environment
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate, contribute and create effective teamwork across traditional organisational boundaries as well as lean agile organisations
  • Significant leadership experience and domain knowledge – particularly within the payments, Online Travel Agency, Online Tour Operator or similar space
  • Product strategy development and execution
  • Deep knowledge in customer and product discovery, implementation and measurement processes
  • Business cases development experience
  • Product portfolio performance management
  • Advanced senior executive level stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence/negotiate positive outcomes
  • Advanced decision-making skills with the ability to appropriately delegate
  • Advanced planning skills to drive business performance
  • Experience people leader Motivational skills in coaching leading individual and team performance to desired capabilities
  • Advanced Product Management knowledge
  • Experience with User centred design knowledge
  • Advanced experience Agile ways of working
  • Preparation of high-level reports, presentations and budgets
