Randstad is currently recruiting for an experienced supply chain manager to work for one of our national manufacturing clients.

Joining their management team, you will be confident in providing quality leadership and direction to the supply chain team.

Key responsibilities -

  • Responsible for the global supply chain function - through strategy, profitability, resource optimization and performance indicators
  • Coordinate and direct supply and delivery of materials to meet timelines.
  • Negotiates terms and conditions with Freight/transport companies Globally.
  • Plans, manages, and coordinates all activities relating to the sourcing and procurement of materials.
  • Ensure minimum disruption to the network through effective supply chain management
  • Maintain and review product fault from the database, while reporting daily to ensure sufficient stock coverage
  • Promote all social and environmental responsibility whilst mitigating risks associated with modern slavery and unethical sourcing.
  • Monitor key performance indicators
  • Ensure up to date knowledge of legislation as it relates to the supply chain process.

Experienced required -

  • Knowledge of the supply chain process in the manufacturing industry is highly desirable
  • Previous experience in a logistics or procurement role is essential
  • Thorough understanding of health and safety and procedural best practices in supply chain management
  • Highly proficient in all levels of the supply chain process
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills is required
